Primary Computing Scheme of Work Focus Group
Would you like to know how to create a great scheme of work to deliver the computing curriculum? One that fulfils the Programme of Study, is full of enaging and inspiring activities, that takes into account your existing ICT setup and your teaching staff's skills?
If the answer is yes, you should definitely join our focus group and get involved with our discussions.
We have trained over a thousand UK teachers how to teach coding to young people, and our trainers have vast knowledge to share. Through our research, we have discovered that schools also need guidance on structuring their approach to delivering the curriculum over the school year, and that is why we have decided to commit a significant part of our development efforts to producing template schemes of work and supporting resources and services for primary schools.
We have formed a small group of teachers to test our ideas. The first meeting is scheduled for:
Wednesday 25 February
16:30 - 18:30
at 4 Unity Street, Bristol BS1 5HH
We have two places available in the group. If you'd like to be involved, please mail us on email@example.com
There will be a further three meetings before the end of the year and ideally we'd like to have continuity in the group.
This is a great opportunity to access expertise on teaching computing, so if interested please act quickly to secure yourself a place.
