CPD Course Development Manager Role
We are looking for someone to help take CPD for Teachers to the next level by expanding our range of training to meet the current needs of schools.
You'll need to have a deep and broad understanding of schools' training requirements and ideally will have recently worked as a CPD coordinator, deputy head or similar SLT role. Primary and secondary leaders and applicants with a relevant LEA background are welcome to apply.
Your mission will be to find excellent training and trainers, and where there are gaps, to oversee the development of new courses. You'll need to be very well networked and in-tune with trends, OFSTED requirements and school spending priorities.
This is initially a part-time role. Pay package is negotiable and depends on experience. It is likely to have a performance-related component based on the success of the courses you bring in.
- In-depth understanding of professional development for teachers
- Able to write appealing, grammatically sound copy
- Quick to learn simple IT processes, eg editing a content-managed website
You will need to be able to adapt to working in a small dynamic and informal start-up environment, which is likely to be very different from previous workplaces. Self motivation and a positive attitude are essential.
Our offices are in central Bristol and you will need to do most of your working hours here, though some work can also be done remotely. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.
