This course provides an introduction to the powerful new Raspberry Pi 2, which was launched in February 2015.  Its increased speed and power, combined with the proliferation of user-friendly resources and add-ons, have made the Pi more accessible to primary. This course aims to get you up and running with some practical classroom projects.

This course will cover:

  • how to setup and use the Raspberry Pi
  • programming essentials
  • some simple interactive electronics projects using Scratch
  • how to build a timelapse camera
  • a quick and easy introduction to text-based programming

The course is suitable for complete beginners.
